Yes. DOXNPLAY operates as a prediction market and peer-to-peer challenge platform. You are always staking against another user — not the house. DOXNPLAY does not act as a bookmaker and does not set odds. Every market on the platform is reviewed before it goes live. We encourage responsible use.

When a market resolves, winnings are calculated automatically and credited to your DOXNPLAY wallet within minutes. If you staked ₦5,000 on an outcome at 2× odds and it settles in your favour, ₦10,000 lands in your wallet. From there you can reinvest it into other markets or withdraw directly to your bank account or mobile money wallet. There is no manual approval step for standard payouts.

DOXNPLAY charges a 10% fee on the total pool at settlement. Winners receive 90% of the full pool split proportionally by stake. If a doxer proposed the event and it was accepted, they earn 2% of that fee — so winners actually receive 90% and the platform keeps 8%. There are no listing fees, no deposit fees, and no hidden charges. The fee is deducted automatically at settlement so you always see your net amount upfront.

The minimum stake per position is ₦1,000. There is no maximum stake enforced by the platform itself, though individual markets can set their own liquidity caps. We recommend starting small to get familiar with how P2P matching and oracle resolution work before placing larger positions.

Each market is tied to one or more oracle sources — these can be official league APIs, reputable Nigerian news outlets, or on-chain data feeds depending on the market type. When an event concludes, our oracle engine pulls the result from the designated source and cross-references it with at least one secondary source before triggering settlement. The entire verification trail is logged and visible on the market detail page so you can audit exactly how a result was confirmed.

Most withdrawals are instant. DOXNPLAY uses real-time bank transfer rails and supports all major Nigerian banks as well as OPay, Palmpay, and Kuda. In rare cases — usually during high-traffic periods or if your bank's NIP gateway is slow — a withdrawal may take up to 24 hours. If a withdrawal is pending beyond 24 hours, support is available via in-app chat and will resolve it manually.

Disputes can be raised within 2 hours of a market settling. When a dispute is filed, the market is flagged and payouts are held. A three-person resolution panel reviews the oracle evidence, any counter-evidence submitted by disputing parties, and the market rules. Most disputes are resolved within 6 hours. If the original result is overturned, all positions are re-settled and the correct winnings are credited. If the result stands, the held payouts are released immediately.

Basic KYC (BVN verification and phone number confirmation) is required before you can withdraw funds or stake above ₦50,000 in a single market. Browsing markets and placing small stakes under ₦5,000 can be done with just a phone number. Full KYC unlocks higher stake limits, faster withdrawal processing, and eligibility for referral bonuses.
